Description

Pechstein Riesling Trocken Grosse Lage, Burklin-Wolf 2020 has a rich straw yellow in the glass. The concentrated aromas are reminiscent of ripe vineyard peaches, enriched by powerful mineral notes. Fine herbs perfectly round off the aromas and fuel the anticipation of the first sip.

On the palate we are then completely filled with the radiant minerality of the Pechstein. The fruit clearly recedes into the background and is reminiscent of finely chiseled mirabelle plums. The herbal impressions also have their place. Above all, however, there is this irrepressible, uncompromising minerality and acid structure that just won t let you go. What an experience – what a great growth!

A masterpiece that you can happily allow to mature for several decades.
